Colorful Party

Birthday

Bright, loud and unmistakably a birthday.

Start a party with this look See what it costs

This is what your guests would open.

Not a picture of a page - the page itself, in this template’s colours. Every tab below is a real one your guests get.

The names, the dates and the boathouse are invented. Everything else is yours to write.

And this is what comes with it.

The same for every template. Picking a look is the only thing you are deciding here.

The invitation

Its own address
Your party lives at togetherwe.party/with/maria - a real page you can put in a message, not an attachment nobody can open.
A personal link for each guest
Every invitation greets that guest by name and knows who they are. Nobody has to make an account, remember a password, or type their name into anything.
Or one link for everybody
Share a single address instead, and guests find themselves on it. Useful when you do not have everybody’s email.
A surprise venue
Fill the location in now and keep it hidden until a date you choose. The page counts down to the reveal instead of showing an empty line.
Kept out of search engines
Personal invitation pages carry a noindex instruction, so a guest’s name and your address never end up in a search result.
Locked, if you want
Put a password on the whole party page, or keep it unlisted so only people with the link ever see it.

The replies

Yes, no, or maybe
One tap. A guest can change their mind later using the same link, and you see it immediately.
Households reply together
One invitation can cover a family, and each person in it is confirmed separately - so four places held does not become four guesses.
Plus-ones, by name
If somebody is bringing people, they enter the names as they choose the number. "Ana plus two" is no use at a door or on a seating plan.
Meals and allergies
Ask for dietary needs and allergies with the reply. Both are treated as sensitive: they are hidden from co-hosts unless you deliberately grant them.
Song requests and messages
Two optional questions that make the playlist easier and the replies nicer to read.
A reply deadline
Set one and the page says so. After it passes the form closes itself rather than quietly collecting answers you have stopped counting.
The whole list, exportable
Download the guest list as a CSV whenever you want it, for a caterer, a venue, or your own spreadsheet.

Getting the word out

Invitations that send themselves
Write once, send to everybody. Each email carries that guest’s own link and is set in your party’s colours.
Wording to start from
Ready-made invitations, reminders, updates and thank-yous. Edit any of them, or write your own.
See it before it goes
A full preview of the email exactly as a guest will receive it, including their name and their link.
Nudge the ones who have not replied
A reminder goes only to the people still missing from the list, not to everybody again.
Send later
Schedule a message for a date and time and leave it. It is queued and sent in the background, never in a rush that times out halfway through the list.
Paste in a list you already have
Import guests from a spreadsheet instead of typing them in one at a time.

On the night

A pass for every guest
Anybody who said yes gets a code on their invitation page, as a QR and in plain type underneath for when a camera will not read it.
Scan them in at the door
Point a phone at the pass and it shows the name, how many places are held and who they said they were bringing. Confirm how many actually walked in - which is not always the number from three weeks ago.
Somebody else can work the door
Invite a door steward and they get the scanner and nothing else: names and numbers, never contact details, meals or allergies.
A seating plan
Build tables, drop guests onto them, and see who is still unseated.
Honest when it cannot save
If the signal goes at the door the screen says so and refuses, rather than claiming a check-in the office never received.

Afterwards

A shared photo gallery
Guests add their pictures to the party page. You can hold every upload for approval before anyone else sees it.
A gift list
List what you would like, with links and prices if you want them. Guests reserve items so nothing arrives twice, and several people can go in on one thing together.
Thank-yous
Send them from the same place as everything else, to the people who actually came.
Warned before it closes
Your plan keeps the party online for a set time. An email arrives a week before the gallery goes, so the photographs are saved rather than lost.

Running it with other people

Co-hosts with real roles
Manager, host, door or viewer. Each one sees a different amount, and what a role does not include is written on the screen before you send the invitation.
Personal details are never included by default
Contact details, dietary notes, allergies and the export are granted one at a time, deliberately, or not at all.
A record of what happened
Who changed what, and when - so a guest list that looks wrong can be explained rather than argued about.

The look

A hundred and more looks
Themes grouped by the kind of party, from black tie to a children’s birthday, each with its own colours, type and background.
Or build your own
Set the four colours, the type pairing, the text size and the background yourself, and watch the real page change as you do it.
Background, turned up or down
Off, subtle, balanced or vivid. A photograph that is right behind one party is far too busy behind another.
Your running order and your questions
A schedule guests can follow and answers to the things they always ask, both on the page rather than in a reply you have to write six times.
English and Portuguese
The party page, the emails and the dashboard, each in the language you choose.
